Wishing you a wonderful 2014

I would like to wish everyone a wonderful 2014. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays.

You probably remember that I told you I was going on an adventure and that I wouldn’t get online very much. I was dreaming of something like the picture below, but my bipeds had other ideas!

They didn’t take me to the roof of the world to play in the snow. They took me on a very long car journey and then we travelled below the sea!

That isn’t nearly as exciting as it sounds – you drive onto a train and there’s hardly time to fit in a decent nap before you’re driving off on the other side.

I will have plenty of exploring to do because I’m living in a new part of England for a while. There aren’t any mountains near us, but I’m hoping to discover some lovely walks in the area.

Thank you to everyone who has left comments for me while I’ve been globe-trotting!

I’m planning to catch up with everyone else’s adventures as soon as I can. I hope all my friends have a great 2014.

See you next Wednesday!

    • Yes, it is very quick – and they’re very efficient with the loading and unloading so there’s no wasted time waiting. It was about sixteen hours driving in total, spread over a couple of days. The bipeds were quite tired! I wish you all the best for 2014.

Mes used to lives on Vancouver Island and we traveled to the mainland on ferries! Me thinks a train through a tunnel might be way better (though the view is pretty much the same).
